J.R. Hayes maintains a fleet of over 200 pieces of rolling stock. Everything from the smallest tools to Caterpillar D10N track- type tractors. We take pride in our fleet and only purchase the best quality, U.S. Spec., EPA-certified environmentally-friendly equipment.

Our Maintenance Facility includes a 5,000 square foot shop staffed with an equipment management team, and nine full-time mechanics. Our number one concern is safety.

We maintain all of our equipment with OEM parts, lubricants and filters. Every part that goes into our equipment is purchased from the dealership.

Every piece of equipment is aggressively maintained to it's own manufacturer's specifications. Maintenance is managed by our computerized Fleet Max maintenance management system. To maximize our equipment uptime, we utilize Caterpillar and Komatsu's expert service technicians for all major repairs, rebuilds and preventative maintenance services.

During every scheduled service, oil samples are taken and sent to a certified lab for wear analysis. This information allows us to incorporate component rebuilds into our regular maintenance schedule and avoid failures in the field.

By utilizing the best equipment available and applying these maintenance techniques, our customers are assured that their projects will have the best quality equipment in the industry. Furthermore, our excellent maintenance program translates into very few breakdowns in the field. And our approach protects air, earth and water quality through responsible equipment ownership.
